UPPER MIDWEST AREA APDA SCHOLARSHIP FUND

Based on our belief in the importance of training and education, the Upper Midwest Area American Power Dispatchers Association will offer to high school seniors of the general membership three educational scholarships in the amount of $1000.00 (US) each in the Spring of 2011.   The recipients of the scholarships shall be announced to the general membership at the Spring UMW APDA Conference in May.

Applicant Guidelines

• Neither your parents nor guardian may be a member of the Selection Committee.
• Applications may be downloaded below or obtained from the contact person of any UMW Area Company or any UMW Officer as listed.
• Applications must be received by April 1st of the year of graduation.

Scholarship Criteria • The criteria used by the Selection Committee shall include but not be limited to the following:

• Grade point average
• Volunteer work
• Awards (scholastic or non-scholastic)
• Work experience
• Clubs and associations (scholastic or non-scholastic)
• Extracurricular activities
